Overview
Teams meeting recordings are available for 120 days (start of semester to the end). This guide shows you how to download your Teams meeting recording(s) for offline use. You must be the owner to be able to download your recording. If you need your audience to access your media longer, you can change the expiration date of your recordings, all content is accessible in OneDrive or can be accessed from within Teams.
HELPFUL TIP: Sharing links via OneDrive allows the owner to see the number of video views.
You can post recordings via OneDrive in several ways:
Post recordings for temporary access for anyone (outside of Canvas). Note: A public link will expire in 30 days.
Post recordings for anyone with a SVSU address (outside of Canvas). Anyone can always access the video link, you can revoke access at any time. Recommended when you need to share outside of Canvas.
Post recordings for access in Canvas only using Echo360. Provide students and any users in a Canvas course access to watch your recordings and see who has watched your recordings. Upload your Teams meeting recording to Echo360 (EchoVideo), or set up syncing to automatically copy all recordings stored on OneDrive to copy to your Library.

This is where all your media is stored and you have access to it from any computer. Visit echo360.org and login with your SVSU email and password, remember it is not synced with your SVSU password.
Alternatively, you can skip manual uploading and save time and turn on a OneDrive subscription. This method will automatically import media to your Library.
We DO NOT recommend uploading your media to Files tool in Canvas it will affect your course quota and there isn't a way to view student Analytics (video views or poll responses).
