Software - Install/Patch/Upgrade

In cooperation with Business Services and University Legal Counsel, ITS negotiates and manages major software licensing agreements university-wide.  All software licensing must go through a rigid approval process, to acquire software legally and to ensure it is compliant with accessibility and security requirements.

ITS provides several software titles, you can find more information at Software Available on Campus.

If you need to order software, you can find more information at SVSU Software Purchasing and Installation Policy.

If you need to install any of the available software on your University owned device, please refer to this article on How to Install Software on University-Owned Computers.

For software on personally-owned systems, ITS will attempt to guide you but cannot perform the installation or repair on personally-owned systems (please contact the vendor for customer service, as the preferred primary contact for software on personal/home systems).
