Echo360: 403 Forbidden Error Message (displays if you used public links)

Overview: Public links and embed code no longer work with Echo360

If you used public links or old embed code to share your videos with students in Canvas or other locations, the video link is no longer accessible. The following error message displays "403 Forbidden: Sorry but this link has been deactivated. Please contact your instructor or administrator.

You can identify an whether a link is for Echo360 by hovering over the link with your mouse and examine the website address. View the sample image below.
