Overview
Web Print Release allows you to upload and submit a document from any lab, personal computer, even a smart device to an SVSU Campus printer without having to install print drivers.
You can release print jobs at any of the SVSU Campus Kyocera MFP locations.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Visit
vprint.svsu.edu to check your balance, view transaction history, change your pin, and release print jobs. Your print account needs to have enough balance to cover printing. If your balance runs out please submit an IT support ticket to support@svsu.edu, or call ext. 4225

Access Web Print
Go to svsu.edu to log into your Print account via Quicklinks > Print Balance or visit vprint1.svsu.edu

Click Web Print

Click Submit a Job
. 
Select a Web Print Location

Choose one of the 4 virtual print locations as desired. The location description is found in the right column.

Click Print Options and Account Selection
.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Choose the web printer nearest to you with card swipe.
Printing Options

In the Options page, type in the number of copies.

Click
Upload Documents

Upload Documents
- Click the green button,
Upload from Computer
and select your file. Alternatively, you can drag and drop your file. Please see table below for supported file types.
- Once the file is uploaded, it will appear above as seen in the image below.
- Once you select the file(s) you want to print, click
Upload & Complete
.

Web Print Queue
Note: Uploading: The document(s) will upload and process. Be patient it could take a few minutes. You will be returned to the main Web Print screen. You will also receive an email noting that you have a document being held in a queue.
The SVSU Campus Kyocera MFP printers are placed throughout campus.

Your job is submitted and is held in the printer queue.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When using web print release, only release documents when near a “Web Print” Kyocera MFP printer with card swipe.

Refer to SVSU’s Official Campus Map for coded locations in the table below.
- Retrieve your printed document from the printer.
- The document will be removed from the pending release queue and your print balance will reflect the number of page(s) printed.

Cancel a Web Print job
Web printing jobs are removed from the queue automatically after 24 hours. Alternatively, you can cancel a print job at the printer or follow the steps below.

Click Jobs Pending Release
.

Locate the document in the list and click Cancel
.
