SVSU supports the use of Top Hat and iClicker Cloud as audience response solutions in the classroom. In each case, you will need to decide if you will require students to use remotes (requires instructor base) or their own mobile devices (no base required) to record responses.
You are always welcome to contact the SVSU IT Support Center for questions about any of these systems, but Top Hat and iClicker also provide extensive, in-depth support for faculty and students. Use the contact information, for each, below, to get your questions answered quickly and thoroughly.
iClicker Events
This tool is still in Beta, but you are able to sign up for it at this iClicker site. Pros to the iClicker Events beta are: no account necessary, QR code access, and real-time results.
iClicker Cloud
iClicker remotes can be checked out from the Support Center or students can purchase a remote or mobile license from the bookstore.
