Zoom: Making Meeting Recordings Accessible

Zoom cloud recordings automatically generate a machine-generated transcript, which may contain errors. With keeping Universal Design and ADA Title II requirements, you must review and edit the transcript.

Always, review speaker names, spelling, terminology, punctuation, grammar, and other content carefully for accuracy.

Tip! You can edit a Zoom recording transcript in two ways: directly in Zoom or in EchoVideo

Edit your Zoom Recording

If your Zoom account is connected to EchoVideo, your Zoom cloud recordings are also available in your EchoVideo Library. The transcript editor allows you to review and correct the transcript before applying it as closed captions.
