Thank you for your interest in launching an official Saginaw Valley State University social media account. All accounts that represent SVSU — whether in name, as a program, group, entity, etc. — must be officially requested from and approved by the Office of University Communications.
Accounts that have been created before receiving approval will receive information about the university's brand standards and may be removed if in violation of the university's social media policy. In addition, approved administrators must adhere to the university's policy regarding Official Social Media Accounts and Personal Use of Social Media.
In the case of an account denial, University Communications will work with the unit/organization to implement a social media strategy using existing SVSU social media channels.
