Spectrum U set up options

Students living on-campus can access Spectrum U using their SVSU username and password.

Roku/Fire Stick/Chromecast/Apple TV

To use SpectrumU you will need to add the "SpectrumTV" App.  Note there is no a "SpectrumU" app. 

**Make sure your TV or Streaming device is on the SVSU Media Gaming network.**

Once you open the SpectrumTV app you'll get a SpectrumU screen to activate the service.  Follow the on-screen instructions for activation.  Spectrum will ask you to "re-activate" every 2 weeks to make sure you still are authorized for the service.

Mobile apps

SpectrumU has mobile apps in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Amazon app store (be sure to get the SpectrumU app). You will need to sign in using your SVSU credentials. It will also prompt you for MFA as well.

Web Browser instructions

1. Open a web browser and go to watch.spectrum.net

2. Select Sign-In to Spectrum U button

3. Enter svsu.edu as the school domain

4. You will be redirected to log in and MFA with your SVSU account if you are not already logged in.
