New Printer Installation Instructions

It is important to first identify the name of the device you are wanting to print to from your SVSU-owned computer.  Follow the basic instructions below:

To Install a Network Printer on your Windows 10 desktop:

  • Click the Windows Start menu or Search icon
  • Start typing the following (be sure to type exactly):    \\vprint1      then press enter.

      

  • From the vprint1 window, scroll down to your specific printer name
    • Double-click on that specific device.
    • This will then install the driver onto your computer and can be selected when printing.
