ITS understands that there is a lot of SPAM in email.  We have mechanisms that do a decent job of eliminating most SPAM.  The best thing for SPAM is to mark it a junk or block it.  You don't have to report SPAM to ITS unless you feel it is really necessary.

If you decide to report PHISHING be sure to save a copy of the email header information so that you can attach it to the request for investigation and diagnostics.

To save a copy of the email header in Outlook on the Web, click the "..." (More actions bubble will show) in the far right of the email heading (From, Subj, etc.) information, then click "View message details (a dialog box will open), Highlight the message details in the dialog box, Right click "Copy", Paste in the "Email Header Information" text box on the request.

To save a copy of the email header in the Outlook Client, open the email (double click on it), File, Properties, look for the "Internet headers" box, right click, select all, copy, then paste itPaste in the "Email Header Information" text box on the request.
