Account Management encompasses user and system access and permissions to use university technology.

Business Applications are the collection of software applications used in the daily operations of the academic and business functions of the university.

Request assistance with your email account, creating an alias, requesting a shared department mailbox, or calendar resource.

SVSU does not typically "whitelist" email. We require vendors who are emailing on behalf of SVSU (i.e. using the domain) with permission to utilize DKIM. Here is a link that can be provided to vendors / potential vendors on DKIM - We will gladly work / assist departments with communicating DKIM with their vendors / potential vendors.

Hardware & Software Services for computers, laptops, tablets, Macs, printers, and other devices found in offices and computer labs.

Information Security encompasses PHISHING, Computer Viruses, System Vulnerabilities, Account & System Compromises and is responsible for the protection of all SVSU technology and any IT Security related issues.

Network, Servers & Storage is a broad range of services that encompasses firewalls, internet & network connectivity, wireless, servers, network storage and file shares.

The University Information Technology Services (ITS) department manages the University Network (the Network). The University encourages Faculty, Staff, Students, Visitors, Contractors & Vendors to exchange information using the Network while reserving the right to monitor, manage and control its use. This policy is based on common legal, ethical and professional standards. Adherence to this policy protects all Users and helps keep the Network a safe and rewarding place to navigate.
