A new @svsu.edu email address will be issued to retirees, or Alumni, at the end of their employment, by request only. Only retiring employees and alumni are eligible for an SVSU username beyond employment; other employees are not eligible. The new username will include an email account only and does not include network storage, or Adobe or Microsoft 365 licensing. Upon departure, all employees relinquish access to the SVSU username/email address they held while employed.

The Office 365 Calendar is a convenient way to keep all of your appointments in one place. The calendar can keep track of class, work and activity schedules. Many people appreciate the ability to check a fellow SVSU user's calendar to see if their calendar is marked as free or busy. The ability for SVSU users to view the availability of another SVSU user's calendar speeds up the appointment making process. When a user is granted access to email via the Technology Access (TA) routines, an associated Adobe license is activated (applies to employees and registered students). There are two Adobe Product groups to manage Named User License access: SVSU Employee – All Adobe Apps and Creative Cloud Express Premium. All eligible users with a valid Named User License are provided online storage via the Creative Cloud Express Premium license (2GB).
