Canvas Direct Share

Direct Share allows instructors to copy their content to another course or share content items with another user. Direct Share works with Assignments, Quizzes, Discussions, Announcements, and Pages.

Direct Share allows instructors to:

• Copy a single content item from one course to another
• Share a single item with another instructor.

Copy To

The Copy To option allows instructors to copy content to one of their own courses.

The content you share using Copy To will be added directly to the other course.

Share To

The Send To option is used to send content to another user.  Content can only be sent to users with instructor-based roles.

Accessing Shared Content

Access the Received Content page to preview shared content, import them into your courses, or remove them.
