There are several tools that include screen capture and a video editing capabilities that are available with your SVSU account (e.g. faculty, staff, and registered students).

Screen Capture Tool Comparison
Important Note: EchoVideo Lecture Capture is available for academic use. EchoVideo allows you to screen capture with audio inside or outside of a classroom, provides a video and transcript editor, various tools to manage your media, engagement tools to increase student learning, and integrates with Canvas, Teams, OneDrive, and Zoom (pro account only).

Below is a description of some advanced editing fuctionalites.
- Transitions - Smooth transition between clips or can be applied to the beginning or end of a video.
- Titles/Subtitles - Add text to a video clip to introduce a topic.
- Audio effect - Adjust audio levels, add voice overs, and background music.
- Visual effect - Correct or improve color of a video clip.
- Speed Control - Speed up or slowdown the playback speeds of video clips.
- Picture-in-Picture - Overlay a different video clip over another.
- Green screen - Allows you to replace the background with video or image.
