The following table depicts the Dell desktop/laptop models that have been identified as Windows 11 ready or incompatible.
Please note that Windows 10 will not be supported after October 2025, so ITS is urging all departments to plan ahead. ITS will be blocking network access for all non-compliant systems come August 1, 2025 (possibly sooner).
Departments need to do a self-assessment and review their budgets to replace non-compatible devices. If you do not see your particular model listed, please contact Mike Holliday.
How to locate your device model
The desktop model is printed on the front faceplate - looks something like Optiplex 7060
The laptop models may be found on the bottom side of the laptop, or somewhere near the keyboard - looks like Latitude 5510.
