Canvas: How to Restore Deleted Content

Learn how to restore deleted items in your Canvas course.

Deleted course content can often be restored:

  1. Go the the Home page of your course.
     
  2. Type /undelete In the address bar at the end of the course URL.

  3. Press Enter/Return.
     
  4. The page that loads will contain a list of recently deleted items with a restore button.
     
  5. Find the item you want to restore.
     
  6. Click the Restore button for the item you want to restore.

  7. Click OK to confirmation the item you're restoring.

The item will be restored ot it's original location in the course.
