Inactive Content Removal

Inactive/Deleted sections and content along with orphaned content (content that is no longer tied to a section and can’t be seen in the T4 site structure) will be removed from the TerminalFour application.  Anything that you mark as Inactive/Deleted will be removed from the system each month.

Sections

The sections that will be purged are displayed in red within the TerminalFour. Any sections that are yellow (Pending) or black (Active) will not be purged:

To set a section to “Pending” edit the section by clicking on the it’s name in the site structure.  On the “General” tab that is displayed select “Pending” from “Status” drop down and then “Save Changes”. You should now see the section is yellow in the site structure.

To set a piece of content to “Pending” that is currently marked as “Inactive”, just choose to edit the piece of content and select the “Save Changes” button (no changes need to be made). You should now see the “Pending” status on that piece of content.
