Use the Draw feature in Microsoft Apps with your Touch Device (i.e., PowerPoint, OneNote, Word, and Excel)

Streamline editing Microsoft 365 documents with Digital inking tools with your touch device using your finger, pen, or stylus to annotate and highlight text, and use the built-in digital ruler. The feature in PowerPoint would depend on if your university desktop or laptop is the most up to date Microsoft 365 version. Available via the Draw tab in the Office ribbon.

Sketch your ideas as fast and naturally as putting a pencil to paper. Use the Draw feature using your finger, pen, or stylus (rubber-tip can be used) to Annotate, highlight, draw shapes with ease, and emphasize content. 

Works on Devices: Windows, iPad, and Mac, and Android

  • Math faculty can use the Ink to Math or Math Assistant in OneNote.
  • The Draw feature on Windows would depend on if your university or personal laptop has the most up to date version of Office 365.
    • INSTRUCTIONS: Open the Office application, select File > Account, you will see Product Information (right pane of your screen) Subscription Product.
